The team at St Andrews Indoor Golf Centre has a wealth of experience in Golf. Our PGA Professionals are supported by highly qualified, energetic and enthusiastic young personel. 

Andrew Bentley, PGA Professional & Manager

Andrew Bentley

Having graduated from the University of St Andrews with a BSc (Hons) in Cell Biology, Andrew worked in genetics at the Welcome Trust Sanger Institute in Cambridge for 4 years before pursuing a career as a golf professional. He graduated from the University of Birmingham with an FdA in Golf Studies and has over 11 years of experience as a fully qualified PGA Professional.

Andrew has joined the team at the St Andrews Indoor Golf Centre as Centre Manager. He has a passion for coaching and helping others enjoy the game of golf. Through his individually tailored lessons you will be able to better understand your own golf swing to maximise your potential.

George Finlayson, Advanced PGA Professional

George Finlayson

Training was initially at the Royal Burgess in Edinburgh and then Dalmahoy Golf Club.

On graduating he moved to Denmark to gain teaching experience at Kokkedal Golf Klub. He then returned for his first full appointment as a PGA Professional at Elie where he was based for 8 years.

After a spell as Director of Golf at the Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle he returned South to set up Scotland for Golf which is based in St Andrews.

George is very much aware of the constant changes in the game. He is a PGA Coach Education Tutor, a Level 1 TPI Certified Instructor and a Level 3 Assessor in Sport.

The recently opened Indoor Golf Centre in St Andrews is a perfect learning environment equipped with Trackman Units. Training and practice is not interrupted by inclement weather.

Chris Kelly, PGA Professional

Chris Kelly

Chris Kelly has joined the team at Scotland for Golf & St Andrews Indoor Golf Centre, St Andrews. Chris was born in Glasgow and completed his training at Turnberry Hotel, Scotland. Chris showed early signs of his ability in winning the Scottish Assistants Championship in 2002 and again in 2003. This lead essentially on to a playing career on the Scottish Tour. He now brings a vast knowledge on the golf swing and how to win to clients at the Golf Centre.
